An app blocker you have to earn your way past. Open a blocked app and FitToll takes the screen first, then counts real push-ups or squats through the camera — joint angles, not motion, so shaking the phone does nothing. Hit the target and the app unlocks for a set window. All detection runs on-device; no video is recorded and nothing is uploaded.

DateLock

Require a delivery date at checkout, saved onto the order

Live on the Shopify App Store

A Shopify app for date-sensitive stores — bakeries, florists, meal kits. The date is enforced server-side by a checkout validation function compiled to WebAssembly, so it holds even through express checkouts like Shop Pay and Apple Pay. It fails open by design: if it ever cannot run, checkout still completes and the merchant never loses a sale.

  • Independent — freelance & solo products

    Feb 2025 — present

    Freelance client work alongside building and shipping my own products end to end — design, mobile and web clients, backend, billing, store submission and support. FitToll and DateLock both came out of this period and are live.

  • WhiteSwan Labs

    Nov 2023 — Jan 2025

    Web developer. Built client-facing product features across AI, front-end and delivery — from an internal AI assistant through to standalone apps for external clients.

    • Built a chatbot on the OpenAI API grounded in the company's own data as context, so answers came from internal material rather than generic model knowledge.
    • Added an image-to-text feature using the Gemini API, extending the assistant to handle uploaded images alongside text.
    • Built a web app consolidating the client's separate mini-apps into a single place, replacing a scattered set of tools with one entry point.
    • Turned that application into a PWA so it was installable and usable on mobile rather than desktop-only.
    • Built the front-end for a digital flight diary used by a helicopter charter company.
    • Built the front-end for a doctor's appointment booking and slot-management system.
    • Built a dynamic forms web app, where form structure is data-driven rather than hard-coded per form.
    • Delivered a web app for Datapartners, an Italian client.
